Manager – API Sales for International Markets Job Location – Mumbai (HO) Experience – 5 to 10 Yrs
Key Responsibilities –
Business Development: • Identify and develop new business opportunities for APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) in international markets, focusing on strategic expansion and partnership development.
Sales & Marketing: • Drive API sales growth through targeted market penetration strategies. • Develop and implement marketing plans to promote key API products globally. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Regulatory, Supply Chain, QA/QC, and R&D) for seamless client servicing. • Represent the company at international exhibitions, trade fairs, and conferences to enhance visibility and generate leads.
Client Relationship Management: • Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and prompt issue resolution.
Regulatory Compliance: • Ensure all activities comply with global and narcotic API regulations.
Market Analysis: • Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and support business strategy.
Sales Strategy: • Formulate and execute sales strategies to achieve targets, improve profitability, and expand global presence.
Reporting & Analytics: • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and business pipeline for leadership review.
Travel: Open to extensive international travel for client meetings, negotiations, and business development activities. Experience & Skills Required: • 5–10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing of API Products. • Candidates only from API Manufacturing Companies will be considered. • Must have handled direct international clients (no intermediates, no trading, no excipients). • Strong experience with narcotics APIs preferred. • Knowledge of international narcotics regulations. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and business networking skills. • High willingness to travel internationally.
