• Strategic Oversight of all API R&D functions: ensuring smooth process development, technology optimization, and regulatory alignment
• Program Management: Control timelines, milestones, and deliverables across various API projects; manage tech-transfer and commercial readiness
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure regulatory filings, data integrity, ICH compliance, and GMP readiness in all R&D documentation
• Process Optimization: Build and improve systems and workflows within R&D; identify gaps and propose technical solutions
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as a bridge between R&D, QA, BD, Procurement, and senior leadership
• Commercial Coordination: Engage and negotiate with suppliers, CMOs, and vendors to ensure optimal cost and timeline for development
• Business Development Support: Identify new product opportunities in line with global trends and company strategy
• Leadership & Governance: Be part of the Core Team reporting directly to the CEO; participate in decision-making and R&D strategic planning
