Role Overview
The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and distribution for assigned Consumer Care brands within the Pune territory. This is an individual role, focusing on distributor management, secondary sales, and market execution, without direct people management responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow business through the appointed distributor network in the assigned territory.
Drive secondary sales, achieve monthly targets, and ensure product availability across outlets.
Execute promotional plans, schemes, and visibility initiatives for consumer care brands.
Expand distribution reach by adding new outlets and improving outlet coverage.
Maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key trade partners.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and schemes, and share insights with the team.
Ensure effective stock planning, timely collections coordination, and hygiene in distributor operations.
Submit regular sales reports, beat plans, and market feedback as per company guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Education:
Graduate in any discipline (preferably with FMCG / Pharma background)
Experience:
2–5 years of experience in consumer care / FMCG / OTC / Pharma sales handling General Trade/GT market.
Strong exposure to distributor-driven sales model
Experience in handling standalone territories independently

Good understanding of GT / retail distribution mechanics
Strong execution and follow-up skills
Result-oriented with good market working discipline
Effective communication and relationship management
Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
