Product: Semaglutide – GLP1 Therapy (Diabetes & Cardiometabolic Care)
Role Summary
The Medical Representative (MR) will play a key front-line role in the successful launch and expansion of Semaglutide, a breakthrough GLP1 therapy transforming diabetes and cardiometabolic management.
The MR will be responsible for driving prescriptions, strengthening doctor engagement, ensuring execution excellence, and contributing to market share growth for Thrissur, Chennai and Hyderabad territory.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and quarterly prescription and sales targets for Semaglutide.
Ensure strong execution of brand strategies at the field level.
Drive rapid prescription adoption in assigned territory.
2. Doctor Engagement & Relationship Building
Build and maintain effective relationships with diabetologists, endocrinologists, and cardiologists.
Conduct impactful product detailing with scientific accuracy.
Ensure regular follow-ups to drive prescription conversion.
3. CME & Activity Execution
Coordinate and execute CMEs, RTMs, and doctor engagement programs.
Support FLM in key scientific activities to maximize reach and brand visibility.
4. Market Intelligence
Track competitor brands, new launches, and activities in the diabetes/cardiometabolic market.
Share timely field insights with reporting manager to support strategic decisions.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with the First Line Manager (FLM) to plan daily and monthly activities.
Ensure accurate reporting through CRM tools and timely submission of required documents.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: B.Pharm / B.Sc.
Experience:
1–3 years of experience as a Medical Representative.
Experience in Diabetes / Cardio therapy areas preferred.
Should have worked with a Top 30 IPM-ranked pharma company (preferred).
Strong communication, scientific detailing skills, and doctor engagement capability.
