Medical Sales Representative in the generic division promotes affordable, non-branded, or generic pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals (doctors, pharmacists, hospitals).

Key responsibilities include achieving high-volume sales targets, securing consistent prescriptions by highlighting cost-effectiveness, managing territory, and ensuring product availability at retail chemist locations.

Core Responsibilities  Sales Target Achievement: Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales volume goals set by the company.  Relationship Management:

Developing and maintaining relationships with doctors (GPs), pharmacists, and retail chemists to secure product loyalty.Product Promotion: Communicating the benefits of generic alternatives, including quality, cost-effectiveness, and bioequivalence to branded competitors.Retail/Chemist Coverage:

Ensuring high availability of products at local pharmacies and chemist shops to prevent stockouts.Market Analysis & Reporting: Conducting Retail Chemist Prescription Audits (RCPA) to track competitor activity and reporting on market trends.Territory Management: Planning daily, efficient routes to cover maximum clinics and hospitals, as defined by this LinkedIn guide.
