INNOVATIVE MEDICINES GROUP

Innovation continues to be a key growth driver for Glenmark. In order to increase our focus on the in-house discovery and development of novel molecules, we have created a distinct sub-group within Glenmark called the “Innovative Medicines Group”. Through this division, we will continue the development of innovative therapies to address critical unmet medical needs and to improve the lives of patients and their families with serious diseases. Our current specialty pipeline consists of two respiratory molecules in various stages of clinical development, 1 molecule each in the therapy areas of pain and oncology. Each of these molecules has the potential to improve patient outcomes by proving to be safer and more effective than currently available therapies.

Role Overview

The Field Sales Officer will be responsible for promoting Glenmark’s dermatology products to dermatologists and healthcare professionals across the assigned territory in Kerala. The role involves driving prescription generation, achieving sales targets, and developing strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote Glenmark’s dermatology portfolio to dermatologists, general practitioners, and healthcare professionals
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and doctors
  • Ensure regular doctor calls and territory coverage as per company norms
  • Conduct product detailing and scientific discussions with healthcare professionals
  • Organize CMEs (Continuing Medical Education) and doctor engagement activities
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback
  • Ensure timely reporting of daily calls, weekly plans, and sales data

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification:

B.Pharm / B.Sc / B.E. / B.Tech

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales (preferred from reputed/top pharma companies)
  • Freshers with strong communication skills and willingness to build a career in pharma sales can also apply

Therapy Experience:

Candidates from any therapy background are eligible (Derma experience will be an added advantage)
