Job Title: Business Executive - Advanced Wound Care Div.
Location: CHENNAI , BANGALORE, MUMBAI
Compensation: 4.5 LPA TO 7.5 LPA
Job Summary:
The Business Executive will be responsible for driving demand and sales growth for our specialized portfolio of wound care, advanced wound care and hemostat products within a defined territory. This role requires a strong clinical understanding, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to execute sales and marketing strategies effectively.
Core Job Responsibilities:
1. Field Visits & Territory Management
• Develop, maintain and execute a planned schedule of regular visits to key healthcare professionals (HCPs) – surgeons (General, Onco, vascular, plastic, orthopaedic), DFS, Podiatrists, wound‐care specialists/centres, hospital purchasing committees, nursing home management, home‐care agencies.
• Ensure a minimum number of calls per day(as per company policy) to achieve coverage of all relevant customers.
• Map and segment your territory: identify high‐potential clinics/hospitals, wound care centres, account users of chronic wound dressings, key decision makers (surgeons, wound care nurses, wound‐care coordinators, procurement heads).
• Monitor product availability in key accounts (hospitals, clinics, homecare providers) and follow up on any supply/stock issues.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of customer visits, sample distribution, sales orders, forecast and pipeline in the CRM system, and provide timely reports.
• Regular visits to Operation Theatres (OTs) assisting technicians and surgeons on usage of products during and post surgeries
2. Demand Generation and Sales:
a. Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and business objectives for the product portfolio within the designated territory.
b. Generate demand for the company's products through regular and structured visits to potential and existing customers, including:
i. Hospitals (Surgeons, Orthopedic, Wound Care Teams)
ii. Specialty Doctors (DFS, Podiatrists, Plastic Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Surgical & Radiation Oncologists)
iii. Private Clinics and Nursing Homes
iv. Home Healthcare Service Centers, Wound care dressers and Distribution Channels.

3. Customer Relationship Management:
a. Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), key business leaders (KBLs) and all relevant healthcare professionals (HCPs) to ensure product adoption and sustained usage.
b. Act as a clinical and product expert, providing evidence-based information and solutions related to complex wound management.

4. Educational Activities and Professional Development:
a. Organize and conduct Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs for doctors and Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) sessions for nurses as per the company's marketing plan.
b. Provide product demonstrations, in-service training, and clinical support to HCPs to ensure safe and effective product use.
c. Serve as a resource to HCPs: stay updated on wound care protocols, best practices in chronic wound management, product clinical data, and relay to customers

5. Market Intelligence and Strategy Execution:
a. Effectively execute all marketing and promotional strategies and campaigns devised by the organization.
b. Monitor competitor activities, product launches, pricing, promotional strategies, usage pattern, market trends, and product performance and report findings to the management team.
c. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and activity reports using the company's reporting system.
d. Identify gaps and opportunities in wound care therapy in your territory

6. Compliance, Reporting & Self Development
a. Submit daily/weekly/ monthly activity reports: Tour Programme, customer visits, call outcomes, sample usage, business closed, pipeline status, next call plans.
b. Maintain and update customer database and CRM records accurately.
c. Attend internal trainings, meet with Area/Regional Manager, take product & clinical training, stay updated on wound care science, product features, competitor landscape.
d. Plan self improvement: refine presentation skills, product knowledge, clinical knowledge of wound care management, negotiation skills, time & territory management
e. Operate in full compliance with all company policies, industry codes of conduct, and local regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Nursing, or a related field.
• Experience: [2-5] years of experience in the Advanced Wound Care, Surgical segment.
• Knowledge: knowledge of wound pathophysiology, different types of chronic wounds (DFU, PU, Venous, Arterial, Malignant), and evidence-based wound care protocols.
• Skills: Excellent presentation, communication (both written and verbal), and negotiation skills.
• Attributes: Highly motivated, result-oriented, self-starter with a professional demeanor and strong ethical standards.
• Requirement: Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
