Job Profile 

  • The Sales Representative III is responsible for achieving sales revenue by generating orders through clinical selling of Ventilators & representing Medtronic in accordance with its policies. He will manage a sales team of distributors in entire North & West India. He has to develop effective distribution network and monitor their performances on quarterly basis.
  • Achieving secondary sales targets month on month ( Will present in CCU/ICU’s at least 3 times a week, 1 quality sales calls every day, Key account management, key account profiles for top 15 accounts in the respective territory )
  • Achieving Focus product targets – both quantity and value – Quarter wise.
  • Account Management: Driving sales targets for the assigned Class of Trade (COT)
  • Customer relationship management
  • Recommending and organizing marketing activities- collaborating with PACE and Marketing team.
  • Establishing long-term medical-scientific/strategicrelationships with Key Opinion Leaders(KOL’s) and with related major medical associations and academic Centers of Excellence (COE’s)
  • Acting as a medical-scientific expert between Medtronic and the medical community through the communication of medical-scientific evidence-based data.
  • Organizing & Monitoring CME’s [Continuing Medical Education] and other marketing activities as approved by the marketing team in conjunction with the Business Leader.
  • Timely reporting in SFDC and trackers for focus products

Must Have – Minimum Requirements

  • B.E or B.Tech ( Bio Medical Engineers / Bio Technology)/ B. Pharma /Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences from an accredited university.
  • 10-15 Years of Experience
  • Should have critical care experience, preferably VENTILATOR
  • Some experience of handling KOLs desirable

Nice to Have

  • Strong learning agility and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrates integrity and recognized as a role model by their peers and manager
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Highly optimistic and indomitable spirit
  • Excellent communicator with a good command of written and spoken English

  • Willingness to travel

  • Builds sustainable, long term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders/Key Business leaders in assigned territory by involving them in scientific engagements at regular intervals and through effective coverage at right frequency
  • In consultation with medical affairs team, executes and plans for conducting scientific activities team such as continuous medical education and executes marketing campaigns from time to time to service listed HCPs in prescribed territory
  • Collects and submits stocks and sales statements and other required documents in timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepares and send daily reports electronically on his day to day activities mentioning in detail about doctors’ and pharmacies call details and reports the same to Area Business Manager.

 

Qualification 

B.Pharma, B.Sc, M.Sc is required and MBA over and above will be prefered.

 

Experience and Skills;
  • Experience in Hematology/Oncology space.
  • Experience of 3-4 years or above is desirable
  • Good understanding of Excel and PowerPoint
Preferrence 
  • Exposure to U.P market will be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Government business and procurement process.
