Alcon is looking to hire an Assistant Manager , HRBP at Bangalore. This position partners with managers, associates and Human Resources Business Partners to deliver core HR services. Ensures an optimal management of HR processes and associate experience, with a focus on people and culture.

The HR Specialist is responsible for solving local organizational challenges through people-related solutions that support Alcon’s mission: “to help people see brilliantly”. Drives HR administrative activities and processes to support the business needs. Proactively establishes strong working relationships within the HR community and client group(s) to develop and execute HR initiatives.

Collaborates on a regular basis with HRBPs and HR Services on execution of solutions and service delivery to clients. Implements strategic initiatives and other enterprise-wide initiatives and HR programs to support Alcon associates, including compensation, performance, employee relations and engagement, culture, and talent development initiatives.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

MBA – in HR or Equivalent

At least 2-3 years of work experience in Human Resources – in Med – Device organization only.

The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.

Key Responsibilities:

In partnership with people leaders:

Aligns with HRBPs accordingly to maintain and implement HR programs & initiatives.

Delivers Alcon’s core HR services and people processes (e.g. payroll, schedules), and ensures an optimal associate experience

Ensures timely execution of all system related processes

Supports leaders and HRBPs performing people related transactions, including any local statutory requirements

Liaison as needed with HR Service Center to ensure timely and accurate execution of system related processes and payroll activities

Build and maintain HR process expertise

Supports HRBP’s with the implementation of global, regional or local HR programs

 Knowledge and Skills:

Optimizes Work Processes – Full understanding of all HR processes and ability to maximize productivity by completing multiple priorities on a routine basis.

Action Oriented – Can quickly and accurately complete assigned responsibilities. Takes action quickly on associate concerns to address and resolve in a timely manner.

Decision Quality - Ability to identify and leverage data to make informed human capital decisions as well as influence the business. Relies on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgement when making decisions. Considers all relevant factors and uses appropriate decision-making criteria and principles.

Collaborates – Actively participates in and supports a collaborative team environment. Role model for Alcon V&Bs. Capable of building collaborative relationships at all organizational levels.

Plans and Aligns – Demonstrated planning and organizational skills successfully handling multiple priorities. Strong capability for problem resolution and identifying root cause issues.

Communicates Effectively - Excellent written, verbal, listening and presentation skills with ability to express thoughts in a clear and concise manner. Attentively listen to others.
